As a Deck Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and creating exceptional outdoor spaces that enhance our clients’ homes and lifestyles. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their outdoor living needs, preferences, and budgetary considerations.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate the existing space, assess feasibility, and gather necessary measurements and information.
• Develop unique deck designs that align with client requirements, taking into account aesthetic appeal, functionality, structural integrity, and safety.
• Utilize design software and other tools to create detailed plans, renderings, and 3D visualizations of proposed deck designs.
• Create accurate material lists and specifications, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with construction teams and contractors during the project implementation phase, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, materials, and techniques to incorporate innovative design elements into projects.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and construction process, addressing client concerns and maintaining effective communication.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Deck Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• In-depth knowledge of deck construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address design challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients, contractors, and team members.
• Attention to detail and ability to create accurate and comprehensive design plans.
• Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics, balancing functionality and visual appeal in your designs.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
